San Antonio, Texas Fall Wedding

Emily + Sam were such a JOY to work with! Emily and I have been friends for 10+ years which made the day even more special to me.

The couple officially got married in Colorado a few weeks before their hometown reception which made the day a little more unique. Instead of a traditional ceremony with all the pomp and circumstance, they chose to repeat their personalized (and BEAUTIFUL) vows to each other in front of a small group of family and close friends before the reception started. I felt so honored to have captured those moments. Even though it was their second time through the vows, both bride and groom welled up with tears over those precious commitments spoken out loud.

One thing I absolutely LOVED about this wedding was that Emily let her bridesmaids choose their own dresses- and none of them “matched”! Each girl got to choose dresses and colors (within her palette) that flattered their body and skin tone which added layers of texture and differentiation you can’t always get when everyone matches.

Also…. those florals.. WOW!

Here are a few kind words from the bride:

“Okay where do I even begin?? Bailey shot my wedding and I could. Not. Be. Happier. She arrived WAY before I even got to the venue and already had several locations picked out and was ready to go when we were. Bailey was sweet, and somehow managed to get our whole families photographed in record time.. and the pictures are STUNNING. The photos of the reception and dancing make you feel like you’re back on the dance floor with your girls. She captures the true feeling of the moment, nothing fake or forced about any of the photos she took. Also she got the pictures back to us super quick!! Overall a fantastic experience, I’ll never hire another photographer- she has a customer for life.”

I am just so grateful and honored to have captured this day and all of these sweet memories!
